The Continual Push to Promote Homosexuality

So the hot topic of the week is also about newly revived gay rights and how even though gay marriage is becoming legal in more and more states including my own, it still isn't enough. Why? Because religions must be compelled to for now, allow it. The next step of course will be to celebrate it, or will it? I've always said that by allowing gay marriage it would not be enough for the LGBT community, eventually they will want all organizations, groups, and individuals to embrace it. This article says it all.

Why is Sexual Assault Any Different From Any Other Crime?

Something I’ll never understand about why this type of crime is so special that even when someone is found innocent (or not guilty which still means just that, not guilty), the smear campaign continues in order to keep up the perpetual victim mentality of those who accuse because after all, women never lie right?

Pornography & A Hidden Double Standard

Pornography is bad in all its forms, and while there are many facts and myths about the prevalence of pornography and its effects on society, here I'd just like to address one in particular that has been giving me cause for concern. More posts will come later, touching on other problems, facts, stories, and misconceptions.

Is My Not Being Married My Fault?

Being single at my age and told that I need to get married, I often self-reflect a little as to how I came to this point in my life and if marriage is something I really want and why I haven’t taken the plunge just yet.

This is my Blog

I have come to the realization that blogging takes a lot of work, if you want to be taken seriously at least. There are many who blog but it is for their personal amusement rather than to garner attention and hopefully begin a career as a journalist.

Here's a Change That I'm Willing to Embrace

I was reading recently about the decision by the Union county government in Georgia to allow the KKK to adopt a highway. It seemed rather odd that such a group would want to be active in their community in support of making it a better cleaner place. What I have always been taught is that the group is a hate organization that believes in white power and to hell with everyone else. In researching their history though, I have come to find that I have been partially duped the same way Palestinians have been duped into believing that America is the “Great Satan.” Researching a little bit about Nathan Bedford Forrest has changed my view considerably about the man.  Yes the KKK has an ugly history, just like the Nazi’s, that makes historians only want to paint them as pure evil, and nothing more.

Enough with the Mythical Wage Gap

With the economy only doing moderately better, yet still in a state of recovery, we have to deal with BS legislation like the Paycheck (Un)fairness Act, which on the surface seem legitimate, but in practice is fundamentally a bad idea.
