A shout out to someone who actually makes an ounce of sense. Never did I imagine that there would be an
individual who I actually agree with who claims both the Mormon and Feminist
label, but this individual actually makes a strong case in his written
narrative. Too bad though he is still promoting a crooked movement.
What I agree with is that no person should ever feel
marginalized, and he is also right when he says, "One of culture’s most
serious mistakes is marginalization of many populations..." There are
several other true statements he makes which left me feeling like he makes good
points and is someone who is genuine. However, he is still a feminist and that
is problematic because his solution to the problem is that we need to help only
women and ignore the m marginalization of men, both individually and as a
population.
Now I get it, the leaders are mostly male, but that doesn't
mean I can't feel marginalized, or that my voice is heard because who says the
leaders speak for me all the time? The leaders speak for Christ, who speaks for
me, but then guess what, Christ also speaks for the women too because He is
there for everyone, and women receive the gift of the Holy Ghost just like men,
and they too are privileged to receive revelation and have spiritual gifts, the
same as the men.
Unfortunately, I think what the MoFems focus on is too much
the gender aspect of culture and how that is the only relatable aspect people
have to one another. Therefore because
women aren't assuming half of all the leadership positions they're thoughts,
opinions, feelings, and desires are automatically ignored and they as a group are
marginalized, is an incorrect assumption.
Has our culture been hurtful to women? It's been hurtful to everyone in one way or another, but that is a perspective that changes from person to person because what is hurtful to one may not be to another. For example, not having the priesthood may be hurtful to some women, but not to others because they don't want the burden it places on the holder, and many men feel this burden and feel hurt by it, wishing they didn't have to carry it, while others are proud to bear it.

So Mr. Mormon Feminist, kudos to you for your efforts,
however the answer is not feminism, just like the answer to Germany's overly harsh
punishment at Versailles was not Nazism. But good luck trying to change the perspective
society has on feminists. You are backing the wrong horse and are in for a wild
ride because feminists have already dug their own grave with their hateful and
spiteful actions that have already and still do cause immense harm to families
and society. It will also cause the same harm to the LDS church if we let it in
because a pestilence is just that, a disease from which only suffering will
come.
And yes I did just compare feminism to a pestilence...
